Agreement to These Terms
These Terms govern your use of Empreer. By creating an account and using the Platform, you agree to these rules. Please read them carefully — they protect both you and our community.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Empreer ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Empreer Inc. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use Empreer. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that: • You are at least 16 years old • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement • You are not prohibited from using the Platform under applicable laws • You will provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration Corporate and Talent Scout accounts require additional verification and must represent legitimate business entities.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials • All activity that occurs under your account • Ensuring your profile information is accurate and not misleading • Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized account access You may not create multiple accounts for the same individual, share your account, or use another person's account without permission. Empreer reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. The Upstream Feed & User Content
Users may post text, images, videos, PDFs, and other content ("User Content") to the Upstream feed. By posting content, you: • Grant Empreer a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Platform • Represent that you own or have the rights to share the content • Confirm the content does not violate any third-party rights You retain full ownership of your original content. We do not claim ownership of User Content. Prohibited content includes: hate speech, harassment, nudity or explicit material, spam, misinformation, illegal content, and content that infringes intellectual property rights.
5. Networking & Circle Features
The Circle feature enables professional networking on Empreer. You agree to: • Use Circle connections for legitimate professional networking purposes only • Not send unsolicited bulk connection requests • Respect other users' decisions to decline or remove Circle connections • Not use the platform to stalk, harass, or contact users who have requested no contact The Pitches inbox feature is designed to separate unsolicited recruiter outreach from main conversations. Abuse of the Pitches feature to spam users may result in account suspension.
6. Job Listings & Hiring
Corporate accounts and verified Talent Scouts may post job listings. By posting a job, you warrant that: • The position is a genuine, active opportunity • The job description is accurate and not misleading • You have the authority to recruit for the role • The listing complies with applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws Job listings indicating Full-Time, Part-Time, or Remote arrangements must accurately reflect the actual working conditions of the role. False or fraudulent job postings will result in immediate account termination and may be referred to relevant authorities.
7. Corporate & Scout Verification
Corporate and Talent Scout accounts are subject to a manual verification process. Empreer reserves the right to approve or reject applications at its sole discretion. Approval does not constitute endorsement of the company or recruiter. Verified accounts must: • Maintain accurate business information • Not misrepresent their identity or authority • Comply with all applicable laws governing employment practices • Not engage in deceptive recruiting practices Empreer may revoke verification status at any time if a verified account violates these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The Empreer name, logo, brand identity, platform design, features, and all associated intellectual property are owned exclusively by Empreer Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not: • Use the Empreer name, logo, or branding without written permission • Copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or replicate platform features • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the Platform Your feedback and suggestions about Empreer are welcome. By submitting feedback, you grant us the right to use it without compensation or attribution.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following: • Violating any applicable law or regulation • Impersonating any person or entity • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts • Using automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform • Interfering with or disrupting the Platform's infrastructure • Uploading malware, viruses, or malicious code • Engaging in any form of harassment, bullying, or intimidation • Using the Platform for any unlawful commercial solicitation Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. EMPREER DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT: • The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure • Job listings are legitimate or that applications will result in employment • User profiles accurately represent the individuals described TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EMPREER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. Empreer's total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to Empreer in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from your Profile settings. Empreer may suspend or terminate your account at any time with or without notice if: • You violate these Terms • We are required to do so by law • We discontinue the Platform Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws and regulations of Qatar, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Empreer shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
